Good day forumers.
I have been back after a few months away. I previously took the GMAT on 31st May 2012, and it ended in a disaster for me. I scored a 450 on the examination and I made some detailed observations about my performance and my studying habits. I realized that based on performance on the test:
1. My biggest weak spots were Critical Reasoning questions in Verbal and Data Sufficiency Questions in Quant. I must spend time in eliminating them.
2. I need some more work on my mathematics fundamentals. I must be fully proficient in maths and also in verbal.
3. I need to be spreading out the amount of practice tests I take
4. Next time I am studying for the test, I must break down all my big goals into smaller ones to be achieved for a month.
Moving on, I have decided that I will take the GMAT next year sometime in either August or September. I will still be using the old materials that I used, which were Manhattan GMAT
set of Strategy guides and Official Guides to the GMAT, as well as Aristotle and SC Grail, plus coming to this website and Beat the GMAT. I am also considering starting off with an online course from GMAT Pill
, especially in Critical Reasoning, Data Sufficiency, and Integrated Reasoning.
