Hi Guys, first of all I wanna thank all of you, who make GMAT challenges. You did a great job. Some questions were a real challenge.  http://www.gmatclub.com/wiki/Testssecond, thanks to Praetorean and Paul for giving me access to them. I have already taken 22 out of 25 challenge archives. Saved 3 for the last week before the exam. Now, as I have the results of most of the challenges, I would like to know, what is the correlation between the results of Challenge and real GMAT quant. Hence, ALL who have taken both exam and GMAT chall., please post your results here. I believe, it will be interesting for all challenge takers. thank you, Regards Pkit:

Following are my challenge scores. I took 10 of them . In many i made
silly mistakes so the score was low , but that helped me to reduce my silly mistakes.
My offical Gmat :- Quant 50 (95 percentile)

I took all 25 Challenges 3.5 weeks before my test (almost one challenge per day which is crazy but I felt great after taking all of them)
My socres for first 10 challenges were all over the park 57-90%. Later on I consistently scored 85-98%. Still I got a couple of horroble scores in in the last 15, but overall the avergae was around 90.
GMAT socre: Q-50 (95%)
PS: Don't worry too much of the scores and correlation. Most iportant aspect is to learn the concepts and you can learn a lot from Challenges. The challenges also help you develop a better thought process. The most important skill I learnt from challenges is to recognize the difficultly level of a question and guess after 2-3 minues. After a few trails I had a 80% hit ratio on questions that I guessed (of course EDUCATED guess - esp in DS) On the test day you have put your EGO in the locker and then take the test. Don't spend too much time on a single question. And I don't believe in the FOCUS on the fist 20Questions myth. Manage time better and give everyquestion your best shot.

Real quant score - 48 (86th percentile)
Early on, I did very poorly on the challenges. By the end, I was averaging in the 70-80th percentile I think --- hit 90th percentile on 1 or 2 challenges, but not consistently. Did not keep detailed notes on them, but did write down (on flash cards) the problems I got wrong, to ensure I was learning from my mistakes.
Definitely use the challenges -- they kick your butt at first, but over time really improve your quant score.

Challanges are not free and are web based. You don't need to install anything on your PC. All the challanges (25 in all) can be purchased for $79 only.

thank u very much for your response. I intend to download them right away. My quant scores are usually high in Kaplan CATs (90%+) but I need to make sure that I have every angle covered! However, today I gave up hope on verbal. It seems impossible for me to score in these Kaplan CATs higher than 33-70%. I have 5 scores in a row between 670-690
(because of Verbal and especially RC). I cannot break the 700 barrier. Hopefully this whole theory that KAPLAN CATs are more difficult than the real deal are true. We'll see...! Two weeks to go!

How would you guys compare these GMATClub challenges to MGMAT Challenge questions? If they are comparable I was thinking of just focusing on MGMAT ones...
