I would be able to give the best advice if I saw the rest of your resume and any drafts of these bullets that you have done so far. At that point it shouldn't be a big deal to come up with powerful language that explains what you did in the most impressive way. Especially since it is a family business and you did a variety of things, I wouldn't be too worried about that. I'm happy to do that for you if you want to send me your resume.
In terms of when folks use an admissions consultant, most of my clients sign up for the entire process, including resume review, personal story development, school selection, essay editing, LOR guidance, interview preparation, etc. That said, the bulk of the hours spent are on the essays themselves.
