Resume Question: How to list Temp Jobs [#permalink] New post 28 Nov 2009, 12:47
I recently began working as an independent contractor to a former client of mine. Only reason I went as independent, as opposed to full-time employee, was because I am planning on leaving to business school in about 7 months. However, their HR policy required I go through a temporary staffing agency to do so.

How do I represent this on my resume? Because it was my relationship with the client, and the fact that I am treated like a full-time employee, I feel like I should list the client name as my employer. However, a background check would review it was not. Here were the two ideas I had:

1) Client Name (via Staffing Agency Name)
2) Analyst (Temporary)
