Retaking courses? [#permalink] New post 05 Feb 2012, 17:40
Hi, I would appreciate some advice regarding whether or not I should retake and get A's in some courses I didn't do so well in during college. I regrettably didn't try in two accounting courses during my freshmen/sophomore and got C+'s in them (ouch).

Would it appear very unimpressive to retake these courses at a community school after graduation? Would it look "better" to retake them at an extension school? If retaking the courses will improve my chances by even a little, I think it's worth the effort.

My options:
1) Take at a community college
2) Take at an extension school (UC Berkeley Extension, UCLA Extension, etc) as an online course

Thanks for any input.

It depends somewhat on your GMAT quant score as well as your overall GPA and quality of academic background. If you have pretty solid numbers, you would not really score points in retaking accounting. Ususally people who take accounting prior to b-school are those who have never had accounting before.
