Hello folks,
I am new to this forum and I am looking for your help regarding the GMAT exam. I took GMAT on 24th September 2013 and scored 530(V19/Q45). I need some serious work on verbal as you can see it from my score. Now, I plan to retake, and I need some help from the experts related to the strategy I should adopt. I was going through some courses available online and I came across e-GMAT. The reviews are pretty good for this course but I am confused between the verbal live prep and verbal online course. Please suggest me which course should I go for. I intend to study for a month before my next attempt.
Thank You

Hi,

1 month is too less for a complete GMAT preparation. However it just helps you to brush the basics. But yes, if you dedicate 3 or more hours daily for your preparation I think reaching 700 is not a big task. Online classes are good and it helps you not to miss any.

All the best!!!

Thank you for your interest in Verbal Online. I recommend that you take Verbal Online. Considering your Verbal score (V19), I would want you learn at your own pace, without an external pressure of completing a concept because you have to attend a live session. In addition, VLP requires 45 days to complete while most people complete Verbal Online in less than 30 days.

In addition to 100+ concept files and 3000+ questions, this course also contains 30+ application files that teach you how to apply the concepts. To help you smoothly sail through this process, we provide you study plans, two strategy sessions (live and recordings), and two subject matter sessions – 1 on SC and 1 on CR (live and recordings).

You need ~80 hours to complete this course. Most people are able to complete it in less than 30 days. Hereis one of the manyVerbal Online success stories. Hereare some examples of folks who have completed the courses much sooner and have accomplished their dream scores. Here are some examples:

Mahesh: Gave his GMAT 3 times, was unable to ace verbal during his first 2 attempts but improved in 10 days using our course. He is now studying at Babson. You can view his audio interview here.

Ayesha: Despite using many classroom courses, she could not improve beyond V20 in three attempts. But with Verbal Online Ayesha was able to go from V20 to V34 in a mere 15 days. Click hereto read her story.
