Review of Accepted.com Service [#permalink] New post 01 Jul 2005, 06:32
Folks,

I found the service on this site and became interested in what they had to offer. I checked out the website (which is very good) and began to learn about the services they offer. In addition there is a lot of really good information relateing to the application process, essay examples etc. . .

I contacted Linda and she put me in touch with the person who was to be my editor for my essays. I sent my drafts to her and she gave me an initial evaluation (no cost) about areas that she would like to address. We also spoke about the emotions and the message that I was trying to get across in my essays and really helped me develop my ideas.

The acutal editing took a week. Each essay went through 2 edits to get them to where they needed to be as far as length and content. I can tell you that I was very pleased with the editing suggestions. The length was taken down to where it needed to be and the message was still the same. The fact that she had taken the time to speak to me to understand my "angle" was a huge benifit overall to the process.

The other aspect that I was really pleased with was the length of time that accepted.com spent on my essays, and since you pay by the hour this is important. They were able to help me get to a finished product in about half the time that I had budgeted for, which was a very nice surprise. They do not dilly dally with your essays. When it come to editing they are all business.

So overall impression was very good. Would I use them again? Yes. Would I reccomend them to a friend? Absolutly. Would I reccomend them to someone I was competing against for a spot at a top ten school? No Way!!

If you have any question regarding the service feel free to contact me. I will give you honest feedback.
