Hi,
I am new to this forum.. I have 6 months to 1 year of time to give the GMAT test.

Can somebody provide me the informaiton on preparatoin..

I just bought official guide for GMAT review 11.

Please read some threads in this forum. There is a ton of information that does need to be repeated.

I will tell you this much, you need a period of about 10 weeks to study intensely. If you do it any longer you will burn out and if you do it any shorter, it won't be enough.

Well, I'd say you could study 3-4 months without burning out, but 6-12 is definitely too much! And some lucky stiffs can ace the GMAT with only one or two practice tests, but there are few of those!

Okay..

I will not have much time for the next 3-4 months. Hence thinking of spending some 5-8 hours a week now. 6 months later, i can spend more time.. May be its better to start with vocabulary slowly now and the getting into pace later.. donno whether this works..

Can you tell me the sequence of the guides and tests to follow..
