$$sqrt(98) + sqrt(18) = sqrt(2*49) + sqrt(2*9) = 7sqrt(2) + 3sqrt(2) = 10sqrt(2)$$

q2:√112 − √63 + √28 = ?

√77

$$sqrt(112) - sqrt(63) + sqrt(28) = sqrt(16*7) - sqrt(9*7) + sqrt(4*7) = 4sqrt(7) - 3sqrt(7) + 2sqrt(7) = 3sqrt(7)$$

q3:√7 (7 √20 − 7 √75) = ?

14 √5 − 35 √3

5 √14 − 3 √35

35 √5 − 14 √3

35 √35 − 14 √21

14 √35 − 35 √21

$$sqrt(7)*[7sqrt(20) - 7sqrt(75)] =7sqrt(7)*[sqrt(4*5) - sqrt(25*3)] = 7sqrt(7)*[2sqrt(5) - 5sqrt(3)] = 14sqrt(35) - 35sqrt(21)$$

Zooink,

Can you tell me how to generate the sqrt? Do you write the tags or can you click some where and generate such mathematical symbols?

Use the [m ] [/m ] brackets to offset math symbols.
