Ross-Interview Weekend Attire [#permalink]

I am getting a whole range of mixed advice on this, and hoped that I could get a general consensus on a question I had. My interview is this weekend at a coffee shop with a local alumni on the east coast. Our communication has been fairly informal - first name basis. I was wondering since its a weekend interview at a coffee shop is the dress attire Business Casual or should I go ahead and suit up. I feel like since its on the weekend, b-casual might be the way to go. However, my interviewer has not given me any directions.

Congrats on the Ross interview! If you were meeting with alumni during the week, you'd definitely want to go full business, but on the weekend, you can reasonably expect them to have kicked back a little bit.
What we recommend our clients is to go full suit but keep the suit casual. Perhaps a light grey or navy suit with brown shoes. So you wear the jacket, but skip the tie. That way you're just one step shy of business but dressed up enough that you really won't have much a downside risk.
