Hi,

I applied for Full Time MBA program for Fall 2013. I realized today that in reply to the question: Enter total number of months of all full time work that you will have completed between the time you received your undergraduate degree and the time of your prospective enrollment at Ross - I mentioned 36 months which should be 48 months.

I mailed Ross Admissions to which they replied that they do not accept updated documentation after application submission. Could anyone please guide me about what can be done? And how much impact it has on my application?

Many Thanks

I dont think you can do anything else.

and it should not have any major impact on your application because the adcom will review your resume as well and now that you have let them know, they may remember the discrepancy (probability is pretty low for this though).

my 2 cents: because you cant do much now, don't fret over it and concentrate on your other applications.

if you get an invite - great. your interviewer only has your resume and you're covered ; if you are waitlisted: explain this again through email or call; if you are dinged: Ross (strangely) offers a chance for the applicants to appeal the decision. So you can probably drop them an email at that time as well.

I agree with jumsumtak, it's not that big of a deal...I wouldn't worry about it and would focus on other schools. Just clarify it when you get a chance.

I doubt it will have any impact on your overall application. The age range in the program is from ~24-25 up to ~38-39

I recently attended the Bangalore Info session of Ross and have shared my experience of chatting with Adcom member and a couple of alumni here. Hope this helps in applications.

Me too! The anxiety has definitely set in. I keep telling myself I could also get an invite in the second round in November, but I can't help but hope I'll get that email tomorrow.

Good luck!!

Haha, it's funny you would mention that. I'm feeling exactly the same way. I am like, if not tomorrow, I do have the option to stall my disappointment/excitement until November, but I want to know tomorrow.

I was trying to hold my nerves till now but the below tweet from Senior member of admissions office makes me nervous

Quote:
I'm writing invite copy right now! MT @mbaMission: @MichiganRoss sending out 1st wave of interview invites 10/22 http://bit.ly/PMCSDc
Retweeted by Ross School of Bus.

The link to a blog update on round 1 admissions http://t.co/8BXwtFjF

Now we can speculate on the no. of invites that will go out in each batch depending on the no of interview slots (Days) that are available.

I think updates can be expected from 9 am EST. It must be around 7 am EST now and so invites roll in 120 minutes odd. 8-)

Just checked out last year's archive, invites started coming out after noon. Ross usually sends out most of its invites towards the end of the day. It'll be a long day today.

I missed merging the degree conferred and transcripts. I only uploaded the transcripts and as there was just one upload tab on checking my app it was complete?? Anyways hoping that should not be a major hiccup.

Reading the posts got me anxious now !!!!!

One of my recommenders still hasn't started yet :(
Hopefully that doesn't take me out of this interview round (I suspect it probably will)

Sorry to say this, but I guess their policy is that unless they receive all the evaluative components, they do not review your application.
It will be a good idea to send them a mail regarding this for confirmation.
