Other than the Businessweek rankings, does it make a huge difference if you have an option to attend PT program at Ross or Kellogg. And if so which one would you choose.

I am particularly interested in Entrepreneurship, General Management, Leadership and Strategy. Is there a huge difference post MBA from these schools with employers like Bains, McKinsey, BCG and Deloitte. The employment statistics show salaries that are pretty similar for each schools.

Keep in mind that consulting firms like McKinsey, Bain and BCG focus most of their efforts on recruiting full-time MBA students.

I agree. But post PT MBA, is the difference between these top schools large enough in Entrepreneurship, GM and Strategy that future employers decide to go with one and NOT go with the other.

Expert's post
Hey there, keep in mind after you graduate, your resume will merely state you have an MBA from a particular program. It won't say if it's part time or online or full time. Therefore, you may lose out on the full time recruiting components that Alex mentioned (along with the internship, extracurriculars, etc.), but for part time you really want to go for brand. In this case, I'd say go for Kellogg if you have the option.

Hope that helps!
