Though,I used to get 740+ range in GMATprep,I understand 720 is very well within the range. But low IR is bit concern.

I think I can better my performance (740-50 and IR6+) without much extra effort (ie less than 50-60 hours of effort) and some exam taking skills (My notepad marker just did not work in IR section and replacement took 3-4 mins and 2 mins panic!)

There are a number of different issues to discuss, so I'm going to work through your answers in order:

To start, studying for the GMAT is probably unlike the type(s) of studying that you've done before. This process requires a larger, more consistent study routine than most people are used to (including studying throughout the week instead of 'cramming'). Oftentimes, a commitment of 10-15 hours per week (or more) over the course of 3 months (or more) is what's required

Thanks for clearing up the confusion. When these types of significant score drops occur, the two likely "causes" involve either something that was unrealistic during practice or something that was surprising (or not accounted for) on Test Day. If you can answer a few questions, then we should be able to figure this out. Let's start with your CATs...

When you took your CATs:
1) Did you take the ENTIRE CAT each time (including the Essay and IR sections)?

With a mid-November Test Date, you've given yourself plenty of time to study, which is good. As you continue with your studies, it's important to take FULL-LENGTH CATs (with the Essay and IR sections) at regular intervals - so you should plan to take a FULL CAT every 1-2 weeks. To raise a 610 to a 730 will require some significant work though and you'll have to make some big improvements to how you handle BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections. As such, you would likely find it beneficial

General GMAT Questions and Strategies | Re: Low GMAT score, switch to GRE? http://gmatclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1727903#p1727903
First off, a 610 is a decent score (it's right around the 65th percentile overall), so it could be enough to get you into your first-choice School. As such, a retest and/or switching to the GRE might not be necessary. Before I can offer you the specific advice that you're looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How long have you studied?
2) What materials have you used?

I have a few questions based on your prior posts:

1) In a prior post, you mentioned that you were going to take the GMAT in early January of this year - did you end up taking the Test as scheduled? How did you score?
2) Since you've put in some study time already and it sounds like you're potentially re-starting your studies now, have you taken any practice CATs recently? If you have, then how did you score?
3) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
4) Is your score goal still 600?

If you really didn't get any questions wrong because of silly/little mistakes and your primary 'issue' is a lack of proper math knowledge/training, then you should probably stop studying the GMAT for the time being and focus on building up your essential math skills.

For free math practice and help, I recommend that you set up an account at Khan Academy (www.khanacademy.orgwww.khanacademy.orgwww.mba.comwww.mba.com
