At 25 you're still young for this process and ahead of the curve.
Have you downloaded the GMAT Prep software and taken the free CATs? I haven't yet seen it, but I hear the new GMAT Prep software now includes score analytics, providing a bit more insight into your performance (by category, etc). Beyond the free CATs, there is a question pack, and there is an exam pack that you can purchase....really no substitute for authentic questions IMO. Try taking the CATs at a workstation in a library etc....mimic the actual exam conditions as best you can.
Never give up.
I appreciate the response and the encouragement. I have been going at this since March and it has simply felt impossible. My Kaplan CAT scores never reflect my true GMAT scores and it seems like I've been running in circles. I have my doubts that investment firms/trading firms would want me in my late 20's. I come from an Econ background, so I don't have the fundamentals of Finance down, hence why I've opted for the BS route.
I haven't tried the GMAT Prep software. At this point, I will probably opt for it and self-study. I've ordered the
Manhattan GMAT Quant Series and will give the Powerscore CR Bible another swing. I will most likely buy some Manhattan CAT's and GMAT Prep CATs as well. I don't want to give up. I genuinely miss school. I miss the classroom environment and I miss feeling like I'm learning something. I am just sad/angry with this journey as it does make me feel dumb and incapable.
Any affordable suggestions for SC and CATs?
