I am aiming at doing my 1 year MBA in 2014-2015 academic year. I am an IT professional with 3 years of experience and I would be giving my GMAT in 45 days time. Am I having enough time in hand to get into any of the top universities throughout the world for 2014-2015 academic year?

To do:
(i) Give the GMAT.
(ii) Prepare the essays and recommendations.

Hi Anuj,

Yes you should plan for your application preparation along with your GMAT prep, this is the best way of preparation in short time if you are confident enough to score good in GMAT. I would suggest you to start working on your application essay basics from today parallel to GMAT prep then only you can make best use of time. Which round are you targeting to apply? and the b-schools where you are planning to apply?

Hi Neha. Thanks for the reply. Its been a while that I've been waiting for a reply. :)
I am planning to apply (if possible), for round 1, as many suggest the same. The colleges which am aiming(in India) are, (1) great Lakes, Chennai (2) ISB, Hyderabad. At present, my WE is 3 years and based on that, these are the one's am trying for(IIM's demand >=5 yrs). The other universities which I tagged in the question are the one's am trying abroad.

Hi Anuj,

Happy to assist you!!

You have shortlisted good set of schools ideally you should apply to minimum 5-6 schools for fair chances and wish you all the best for your GMAT and application preparation stage. Let me know if you have any questions, you can also PM your contact details for a profile evaluation and b-school selection.

Regards,
Neha Singh
