Although the company’s founders certainly hoped that incorporating would increase their profit margin, no one, not even the founders, didn’t expect that the value of the stock would appreciate so quickly.

I chose E. It doesn't have a double negation.

SO I went to BBBB.^^

C ) nobody, not even the founders, expected-> IMO D ) nobody, not even the founders, didn’t expect E ) no one, even the founders, expected Im confused between nobody and no one

"no one" is better than "nobody" because "no body" is less formal than "no one".

There you go. This explains why B should be preferred to C.

Between B and C, I will go with (B). Unfortunately, I don't have a good explanation, I am going by my ear...no one is more formal and preferred. What is OA?

Definitely B! The others don't make any sense, especially E.

I looked up the dictionary and it seems like no one is synonymn of nobody. also no one is kinda opposite of everyone. A) two negates so wrong B) dont think it no one because we are not referencing everyone in the previous statement. Wrong. C) This is left with only choice. So Correct D) uses nobody but two negates so wrong E) missing negate before even "read as nobody, even the founders" - doesnt seem right
