Hi all,

So this morning i tried first 50 questions from OG13 and got 38 correct.
Is it a good ratio? Or Is it average? Or bad? My aim is 700+.

Hi there,

Although I am not an expert, here is my opinion about your query.

38/50 is a good ratio. However, at the same time the REAL is different than OG questions.

They are more advanced than the OG ones. Also getting some %age of questions right doesn't mean that you will get same %age correct in Verbal in the Real thing since there are other parameters which influence the score.

(1). Stamina
(2). Exam anxiety
(3). Performance pressure
(4). Focus/Concentration
(5). LUCK

It's decent - you're on the right track. There's room for improvement and you are close to the 85%-90% target range you should have in mind for a 700. That said, there are all kinds of actors related to difficulty, order of questions, etc. For example, you might be really good at drilling through a bunch of SC questions -- but what happens when you mix SC with RC and CR ? Will that throw off your rhythm?

Lots of other factors -- so I'd say you're on the right track -- but still the actual test can test your limits.

You may find these SC practice questions useful: http://www.gmatpill.com/gmat-practice-t ... questions/

And if you'd like to test yourself with an online practice CAT: http://www.gmatpill.com/gmat-practice-t ... ctice-test

Hi there,

I agree that you are on the right track, but make sure that you take a practice test soon to find out exactly where you are. Your score report will let you know exactly what levels of SC questions you got correct and incorrect.

Regards,

Elizabeth
