now you only tell me which one is correct? dont get carried away cuz 'countries' is mentioned..look derz a preposition before dat 'on' so we can omit from dat part

From what I can see as varied as modifies countries and not the effects.

Between A and D too....tough choice.
I picked D because "that" seems to put more emphasis on "countries" and makes the sentence sounds better to me.
