increasingly critical, the adverb increasingly modifies critical correctly.

Also it is parallel. the problem becomes critical as space gets larger.

C is wrong because of 'more and more'

E is wrong because of 'with'... 'getting larger'

D is wrong because of too verbose

B is wrong because the usage of the word 'increase' instead of 'larger'. The word change totally changes the meaning.

My Choice is A

A for me. Increasingly(ad.) correctly modifies becomes(V.). "gets larger" is better as it is used as an adjective and not a verb(increase). space is not increasing relative to what it used to be, it is getting large day in and day out. "Larger space" comparative to what it used to be.
