CORRECT IDIOMATIC USAGE is :
MORE X...THAN Y
MORE X ...RATHER THAN Y is INCORRECT .

OA should be C IMO

IMO C

More X than Y as everyone mentioned. I believe you did a small typo while mentioning the OA.

I'm sure B was your choice and you wanted to know what's wrong with "rather than".
