School-Year Internships = Possible / Worth It? [#permalink] New post 26 Feb 2010, 14:56
I'm ashamed to admit it, but I was browsing that "other" board and someone mentioned that schools in major metropolitan areas gave students a better chance at landing an internship during the school year . How would this work? I doubt that most places are going to let you work from 6-9pm, or on weekends or whatever when we might be free. Or just work Friday's for that matter. Has anyone done this, or known anyone who's done it? I could see it being hugely beneficial for a career switcher if it pertains to what you want to do over the summer/ post-MBA, but is this realistic?

Appreciate your insight into this ...
