schools short list [#permalink]
05 Aug 2004, 13:09
ok this is my strategy so far. I have picked some schools that im gonna apply to....
princeton
illinois
gwu
boston college
u british columbia
york uni
richard ivey
queens uni
london business school
i think this is a great mix of schools in the US, Canada, and UK
I am targetting an mfin/msf degree ( not mathematical finance or financial engineering)
ivey is on my list cuz i want to apply to atleast one mba program . I dont have much work ex ( 1 yr) i just want to see if i get in . if i do, ill go there.
the rest are mfin/msf programs. I plan to do the masters in finance and then apply for a general mba ( in case i do not get into ivey).
btw i take the gmat on the 16th august. expecting 650-800
i have a bachelors in finance from PSU ( smeal)
work ex is research ( economics)
let me know what u think
thanks
Karan

Hi,
I like the geographic diversity of these schools and the fact that you have included the Princeton program.
I am a little surprised that there are no US MBA programs such as Carnegie Mellon.
