However, Schulich only publishes scholarships in Feb-Mar.

hmm sucks about Rotman. I'd choose Schulich as well in your position, Rotman's tuition really pushes down your ROI

Hey echelon99, with Rotman, you really need to set aside CAD150k and I wasn't too excited about that. I know that at Schulich I will get the same quality education and networking opportunities as I would at Rotman for a whole lot less. Also I'm looking at Media/Marketing & Analytics and this is one of Schulich's strengths. I didn't apply to Mcgill because of the location. In terms of networking, being in Toronto itself makes things much more easier unless you're planning on finding a job in Montreal itself.

Hey guys, I had a question regarding the academic requirements. The York MBA website states:
"An undergraduate degree from a recognized university with at least a B average in the last two full years (or equivalent) of academic work."
So does that mean they look at the GPA of your last 2 full years of academic work, and not necessarily the last 2 full years of your undergrad degree?

Generally how long, after the submission of application, does the admission committee take to tell us if the applicant has been selected for an interview?

I've been told by former applicants that it can take anywhere from 4 - 8 weeks after they have received your complete package. keep in mind that a 'complete package' includes official transcripts.

So the scanned copy of the transcripts won't do?

arjunpisharody wrote: So the scanned copy of the transcripts won't do? I'm not sure, Arjun. The importance of the 'complete package' was highlighted to me multiple times by both Rotman and Schulich. In fact Rotman does not even let you upload scanned copies. Not sure how the scanned copies will fit into Schulich's selection process. Even if they start reviewing the application with the scans, you can add 2-3 weeks to the 4-8 mentioned because of the Christmas break. I know, the waiting sucks.

Appreciate it No problem. You probably did the smart thing and sent them by courier. My uni would only send them by regular mail. Over a month since they have been posted and they have still not reached any of the unis :S Anyway, good luck!

arjunpisharody wrote: On a seperate note, how good is the Schulich Campus in terms of facilities and amenities? Check your PM settings, It says its dissable so I couldnt respond to your PM so Ill just post the answer here: I am not in buisiness sustainability so can't comment on the course. The sustainability issue is discussed in most classes, Schulich would never get ranked so high if it just offered a few courses in the area. The school overall has strong sustainability focus (among others) that is present throughout the courses offered. Also student run sustainability club is pretty good. Jobs as always: every one bitches about it. With Marketing it will be tough, but not impossible. Campus: Yeah there are few reports of violent crimes here and there, but I dont pay any attention to it. Living on campus is very convenient and I love it. Schulich building is awesome although at peak hours way overcrowded. York gym facilities are extensive but very average. Anyway, no one should pick a school based on its campus, its like judging a book by its cover. When you get it you'll find out
