Honestly 70% Universities are out of my reach, But 20-30% are there and they will have their admission opening after Christmas Holidays.

No Doubt I am slightly late for 2014 session.

The universities which I am targetting are Ivy league, and have limited vacancies for admission like 25-35, their average GMAT is quite high.

A very high GMAT score 740-770 does not guarantee admission into Ivy League, especially for typical Indian candidates. I have seen people with 750 GMAT, IIT background landing to schools like UCLA/Cornell etc. These are the schools which are typically the upper limit for Indian candidates with Indian work experience.

I saw ur signature, which says ''It's easy to say you can't do it , you are not good enough. It's much harder to step in your shoes and achieve the improbable. "

Not demotivating anyone, don't know anything about his profile. Re-read the bolded text above. Just stating an observation based on my research. If you can think from a different angle maybe you can see that am trying to help. Send me a PM and can explain in detail. Do not want to hijack the thread.

How critical is international experience as far as the selection is concerned?
By selection, I am saying the best of colleges in their respective domains.

I have also heard rumours about a candidate having an edge incase s/he has work experience with more than one firm. How far is that true?

Thank you both of you for your feedback.

Guarantee is not associated in the world of management and thats the part of that highly competitive world.

It is a myth that higher score is bad on the contrary more than 90% scholarship obtained are by top scorers in GMAT that is a very important criteria for scholarship consideration.

Excellence counts, Microsoft believes that those who are consistent during their entire academic career they are often found to be consistent in their life long deeds and same is noted by B school.

Indian students lands into top b school with Indian work ex. Great success are rare and are rarely noticed among peers.

Tempo should be high, attitude should foster excellence, excellence should be a habit, whether we reach our goal is not important journey itself is infinitely rewarding.

It is more about art of selling yourself, Anil ambani was refused admission into Harvard Business school and same year a clerk from Italy got into Harvard.
The art of selling, learn to sell yourself and learn to convert adversities into opportunities.

One more thing their are enough rumour mongers, remember the success to Ivy league universities are rare and it may appear most of the time that these universities do not admit Indian students. Diversity of admission counts but it also depneds what is your profiles, say I have

1. IT and corporate 2 years
2. 3 Years Running an increasing the potential of NGO from 350 volunteers to 15000
3. Entrepreneurship.

GMATprepnow, I studied their sentence correction and Critical reasoning, the course is immensely great. Before I used that I was not even aware that there are only limited concept GMAT test and those concept can be presented so easily and so concisely, slides and Videos are great.

I was good in mathematics so didnt used the maths part but just before the examination i used their probability and it was again awesome. Yes this was my first attempt.
