08 Sep 2012, 04:40
Hi,
I would be greatly appreciative if you can assist me in redefining my target schools. I just took the gmat and scored higher than I expected.
My long term goal is to become a portfolio manager for an endowment or scholarship fund. My short term goal after business school is to work in PE, VC, or work for portfolio managers.
Profile: Ethnicity: Asian American GPA: 3.74 GMAT: 700 (49Q 37V) Work: 3 years (entering 2013) Experience: Internship with a top 5 (in terms of assets) endowment. Teach for America (TFA)- 2 years in Hawaii Teaching abroad - 1 year in South Korea 1 year - co-managing 50k investment fund while in college (20% return) Leadership: President of largest college cultural club Student supervisor of college admissions team Member or selective leadership program while in college Director of SAT prep program while in TFA Content leader of subject while in TFA
Am I correct in my assessment that Harvard, Stanford, Darthmouth and Chicago will be reaches; Berkeley and ucla 50/50; USC and Michigan safety?
