Scoring about 67% in SC problem sets, how to move beyond? [#permalink] New post 02 Jan 2013, 00:01
I am only getting about 67% of the SC questions correct. I read through Manhattan GMAT's SC and some random Kaplan book.
This seems to be on a consistent basis. I'm basically incorrectly answering 1 of every 3.

Steps that I'm taking
- Reread Manhattan SC
- Analyze every wrong and correct answers

What else could I do to improve this beyond 90% and above?

To move to 90%+ accuracy, one needs to have strong application skills in sentence correction questions. What is common between candidates with 60-70% accuracy is that though they know the theory, they struggle with the application of concepts. You may want to get your hands on a book that shows you how and when to apply a concept in a question.
Also are you maintaining an error log ? Maintaining an error log is quite useful for sentence correction questions.
