Second MBA? [#permalink] New post 10 Mar 2014, 04:06
Hi

I am planning to take GMAT.But i have some queries.

I am B.E.(Computer Science) from one of top engineering college in India.Right after completing my engineering I did a 21 months full time certificate program(PGPBM) in Marketing.

After completing this certificate program i was placed in world’s largest battery manufacturing company and now i have 4 years of sales and marketing experience in channel and institutional sales.

Now I want to go for another MBA in Marketing from one of the top US university.

Would it be considered as second MBA?
My previous course was not a MBA course but a full time 21 months certificate program in Marketing. Can i apply for top MBA programs in USA?

In most cases you can apply for a second MBA, and I've had a number of clients who successfully did so. But try and take two things into consideration: 1) It will be really important that you JUSTIFY the need for this second MBA. 2) It weakens your profile somewhat, so take this into account when you figure your chances,

Hope this helps!
