I need help with selection of B schools for fall semester 2012. My preferred location is Asia, North America and Europe.

GMAT: 710 (Q49, V37)
Undergrad GPA: 7.43/10 in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NIT Calicut in 2009
XII: 91.8% (CBSE)
X: 83.6% (CBSE)
Work Exp: 2+ yrs. (from July 2009 till date)
Department: Quality Assurance
Extra curricular activities: Was a member of IEEE NITC Chapter

I would like some suggestions as which all schools I should consider applying to with my current profile with realistic chance of admission and financial assistance.

Hmmm. this is hard to say, there are sooooo many top programs out there! And you wrote Europe America, or Asia! Which means just about limiting yourself to every MBA program in the world!
:)

Well why don't we start with schools with a strong tech basis that seem reasonable for your goals: How about Tepper, Haas, Austin, Georgia Tech, Ross, MIT? In Europe: IE, INSEAD, ESADE. In Asia: INSEAD, NUS, CEIBS?

How's that for a start?

I really doubt that I can get INSEAD, CEIBS or MIT with my current profile. The other colleges you mentioned I am not too sure I can crack. I would like to apply to those colleges where I have a pretty good chance of getting into.

Hmmm. And why not? I've seen people with similar profiles get in those schools. Although I have to say, I knew a lot more about their profile. :)

And anyhow a good strategy can be made of schools which you aspire to even though they are tough (although you can of course concentrate on schools you only have a good chance of getting into, especially if scholarships are a concern for you)

But maybe we are starting backwards....Why don;t you first give us a bit more info about you? Tell us your unique aspects, your involvement in the community, your extra curriculars, your leadership, and any awards at work or academic, and then it will be a wee bit easier to evaluate your chances.

Oooooor better yet, drop us a line and fill out the form, which is a lot easier cause all the questions are already written down for us:
