Sending the GMAT score to the school [#permalink]
30 Nov 2012, 00:38
Hi, When I took the GMAT, I had entered the names of the schools I'm applying to when I was prompted to enter the 5 schools that would automatically receive my GMAT score. While I'm applying, do I have to take any additional action aside from just static my scores in the app?
Thanks!

hi. Do we need to remember the GMAT codes of 5 schools to which we want to send the scores or do we need to select the names from the drop down ? Are we given limited scratch papers or can we ask for as many as we need. .

You can search for the school name and I believe you can ask for more scratch paper, but please, someone who's taken the Gmat recently chime in here. Posted from my mobile device

Yup. You can take more scratch papers. In fact, in my experience the lady had replaced scratch paper during the break without even asking me. I actually had similar doubt on sending score thing. I was wondering if i needed to remember the codes or what.. But just a tip. You'd be better off remembering the name of states in which your colleges are. Seach will be easier.

I am actually yet to do any research on schools.. I plan to do a 1 year MBA.. so XLRI ,ISB andJudge business school are on my mind now. Kellogg is out since it focuses heavily on sales/marketing, I believe. Can you suggest some good schools in which we have good 1 year program. .. IIM ABC and L have 1 year programs right?but I guess I don't have 10-12 years experience that these IIMs look for. So they are out too.

So they are out too. iIMs don't look for 10-12 yrs. requirement is 6-8 yrs so u have 4 more options right there. Moreover since u dint mention anything about yourself other than interest in 1 yr program.. So... Some random good 1yr programs: INSEAD, Ivey, IE, IESE,ESADE, HEC( approx), LBS etc. choose your pick!
