Sending updates to schools [#permalink] New post 21 Jan 2011, 15:42
Hi,

I recently submitted my application to few schools. At work I was offered a special project, which is offered to less than 1% of the employees. The project is a unique chance to work with the senior leadership (CXO's) of the company to work on some strategic projects. It's a fairly big thing at my company but I am not sure how big it is to an admissions committee. Since this is a new development that happened after I submitted my applications, do you think its worth sending it as an update to the schools? If so in which form should this be sent (postal mail or email)?

Thanks.

Check the policies of the schools you applied to, but if they accept updates then sending an email detailing the project and its significance is best IMO.
