correct ans is E.Plz explain in datials...........

A) The pronoun "this" is ambiguous. It does not refer to any noun. Hence wrong.

B) If you read the sentence, it feels wrong. This is because "As" and "with" are both connectors and when used together, they do not make sense. Hence Wrong.

C) The honeybee's stinger,.......,results in ...... => This means that the stinger ITSELF is resulting in something! The act of stinging can actually result in something, not the stinger by itself. Hence wrong.

D) Same argument as C). Hence wrong.

E) Gives the correct meaning. Correct.
