Hi rakeshpai1,

Your self-analysis has helped you to pinpoint some areas that you can work on, which is good. I'd like to know a bit more about how you've been studying though:

1) How long have you been studying?
2) How much of your studies have been focused on Verbal?
3) What resources have you been using?

4) Have you taken any FULL-LENGTH CATs (including the Essay and IR sections)?
5) How have you scored on your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
6) What is your score goal?

Hi,
I am in process of studying for Gmat and between SC right now. I have solved 50+ OG 15 problems and found out that I am weak in Verb tenses(33% success rate), meaning (50%), and idioms (75%). Can anyone please suggest some good materials that will help me improve my weak areas? Looks like I need more practice problems in these areas.

Resources used: E-gmat and OG

E-gmat is good though. I get 80-100% success rate in concept and application quiz but I tend to fail in OG. I feel confident enough to think I have marked right answer.

Please help. Thank you

Hey rakeshpai1,

The SC section is the easiest verbal section to make improvements on. Once you understand how to think and approach this question type, there are only so many ways you can be tested. Here at GMAT Pill we developed the 10 core frameworks which detail the 10 ways to approach GMAT sentence corrections.

Here is a sample video detailing one of the core frameworks: https://www.gmatpill.com/gmat-practice-t ... stion/2184

Best of luck!
