not sure if this is the right logic:

4^(1/2) = 2
4^(1/3) = (2^2)^(1/3) = 2^2/3
4^(1/4) = (2^2)^(1/4) = 2^2/4 = sqrt 2

to simplify further:
2 + sqrt 2(2^1/6 + 1)

thats as far as i could go...

We need options to arrive at a solution.
