Contact admissions office and ask if the rec can be resubmitted.

Thx! But who is better to contact the school? Me myself or my recommender? He would be so embarrassed if I asked him to do so

You call the school, its your app, your career - so you gotta take the initiative. Ask them to remove his recommendation from your profile, or delete his profile. Recreate a new profile, and ask him to re-submit.

I think this may be somewhat of a common occurrence. I remember seeing other post(s) on this before. On one hand, it's definitely not good that your recommender messed up, but on the other hand, the school understands that it's not really your fault that your recommender made a boo-boo. If your school allows for recommendation resubmission, great, but your school does not allow it, you shouldn't stress too much.

This happens a lot. The school wont hold it against you. It isn't exactly a secret that you are likely applying elsewhere.

Thx asimov& rhyme! :)

I feel a little relaxed now! I just e-mailed to the school this morning and have not obtained the reply. Still worry a bit. Anyway, just keep going, I can not blame anyone!
