Seven men and seven women have to sit around a circular table so that no 2 women are together. In how many different ways can this be done?
a.24 b.6 c.4 d.12 e.3

Hey ,

7 men can be seated arround a table in 6! ways.
Now 7 women can be seated in the 7 places between the men in 7! ways.

So the answer must be 6!x7!

Are u sure that the above options are correct?

Ciceron is right

taking the first man seated as reference point ( because it is a circular arrangment

men has 6! and the other seven women has 7!

check the answers my man

but i get 2*7!*7!.

they have to sit alternate. so we just fix the seats for men and for women.

1). men have 7! and women have 7!.

2). now men and women exchange seats. this is another arrangement since they are sitting on different seats. 2 times.

then i get that result.
