SF Bay Area "Welcoming Party" for Avi? [#permalink]
04 Oct 2007, 11:24
Hey Everyone,
So Avi will come up to SF in the next couple months, just wanted to see when people might be more free and want to meet up with him (he's an awesome guy in real life, especially with his red hot motorcycle! =P).
My schedule frees up more after 10/20 (only Haas to finish up) but I am gone from 11/2 to 11/28. Then I'm around most of the time again (probably doing Kellogg).
Maybe weekend of 10/20-21 or 10/27? Otherwise December?

Damnnn...I am honored to have a post from the 08 king of posts welcoming me to SF.. I have to go to SF now.
Actually October 27 sounds like the magic number to me..I can hop to the Indian consulate on 26th..friday ..get my work done and then party on Saturday with u folks.. unless u r all working like crazy on the applications.. I know some of u guys have ur deadlines on November 1.
Else December is always good for me.
Anything to get out of office..
I expect a cheer leading squad to greet me...

Hmmm,
... maybe if you appear on the Duc we can get Kryzak to follow the bike about about and shelter you with a small umbrella.
ok for some reason I'm too dim to get the smilies to work but I would be up for a drink, evenings or Sunday are good, short notice is usually not problem.

well, we definitely want as many people there as possible. So if December is better for all of us, we should aim for that instead... Who knows, I may be too ambitious thinking my Haas will be done by that weekend

might work better since most people will be a bit more relaxed, and I"ll have my leisurely time to work on Kellogg essays.
