Should I answer forum questions? [#permalink] New post 13 Sep 2006, 06:35
I've just started my prep about a month back and have finished going through the basic review materials for all of the sections. So its very tempting for me to try and attempt the questions posted here. However I'm also worried that I may encounter some of these questions on practice tests that I may be planning to take later. So attempting those questions here before taking those tests would skew my test scores later. Is my worry valid? Have other people on this forum faced a similar problem?

Hey Gaurav,

I am in the same boat....as you are...I started my preparation a month ago.

I feel that answering questions here, will teach you how to analyze and how to approach the question by discussing with others...this can be taken as a practice exercise...

Good Luck

you didn't address his real worry. he is concerning with the possible diluted score.

That is my concern as well.

I would say - stay away from the GMATPrep questions. That way you wont know answers beforehand.
