should I apply to Chicago GSB parttime MBA with low gmat? [#permalink]

I recently took my gmat and scored 670, I was disappointed as I spent 2 months working hard on my verbal but still couldn't get it above average. I was planning to apply for chicago GSB part time weekend MBA program, the average gmat score is 680 for the weekend program. my undergrad gpa is 3.5 and my MS gpa is 3.6 and have 6 years work experience in a IT consulting, Should I go ahead and apply inspite of the low gmat score? I am also worried that i am applying too late. Should i wait and apply early next year, will that make a difference? people please advice, I am really confused

680 is average, so 670 is fine. It also doesn't matter when you apply for PT programs, its rolling admission throughout the year so there's really no difference between applying in June or applying in December.
