Should I fill out the supplemental essay? [#permalink] New post 02 Mar 2014, 14:37
Hi,

My last semester of college I seriously slacked off (1.58 gpa) and the rest of the semesters I had above a 3.0. Should I fill out the supplemental essay to explain the drop in performance? The problem is I don't really have a good reason for my poor performance it was just immaturity. I already had a job and wasn't planning on attending graduate school so I just blew everything off.

Thanks!

I'd say you pretty much have to write SOMETHING about it. Even if its just to say "I don't really have any good excuse, but I was immature and made a mistake."

I feel its always better to attack issues like these head on.

Best,
