Should I leave My Job? [#permalink]

My profile
Age:25 Background: Banking and Entrepreneurship GMAT: 740 GPA: 3.7ish Undegrad: Top university in California Extracurricular: lots
I am looking to apply to bschool in this coming fall (columbia, wharton, HBS) however I have hit a point where I've had enough at my job (a little over a year). Long story short, the company (a recent startup that went IPO) does not value its lower level employees (in more ways than one) and I feel I could get my foot out into other positions more suitable for my experience.
Should I leave this company for another job now? I've been at 3 different companies for the last 4 years (mainly due to contractual obligations in banking) and I feel jumping around too many jobs will be frowned upon in my application.
Also, I might add, at the same time, I've founded a startup with a partner four years ago and we were just acquired this month. I hope to utilize this experience in the bulk of my application.

If you are planning on going to Bschool soon, it might not make sense to leave a job to just start another one and not have enough time there either. Too many jobs in a short amount of time does not look good, and will mark you are a "jumper" or something that doesn't knwo what they want to do. Since you've already jumped so much, it might make sense to see out the rest of your term there, and then move onto Bschool. The only reason why I wouldn't do this is if you are able to land a significantly better job. I would not recommend that you quit before you have landed another job though. You have a strong application, so don't let your dislike for your job overshadow the rest of your strength.
