I took yesterday the GMAT and reach a total score of 650 / 84% (Q=50/95%; V=28/51%). I prepared the exam with Kaplan and OG books
I am not a native speaker of English, but I got a decent score in my Toefl (273/300), so i assume the language is not my only problem in the verbal section.

I am in the mood to retake the test, but I have several questions:
- Any inputs on how to develop my verbal skills. ( I am already reding english newspapers (in addition to regular staff) but it seems It's not working)
- I plan to retake the test in early novemeber to be able to apply in the first round. is it too early since I took the exam yesterday?
- I am definitelly appling to IESE (Barcelona, Spain), maybe INSEAD.
- is a competitive score for IESE?

Thanks in advance

650 is just below the median (670) for IESE. The low end of the 80% range is 620, so you're above that. So, your 650 wouldn't be a disaster for IESE.

In terms of improvement, I'd recommend highlighting the verbal areas (of the GMAT) in which you are struggling and target those merciously. We have a tool that works pretty well for that: http://www.mbagameplan.com/Tools.htm
