I felt pretty good about Quant, but with Verbal I paid a lot of attention to the clock, and felt like I was good on time, because I did most questions in about 1.5 minutes, but rushed the RC parts, because I definitely had to guess on at least 4-5 RC questions. I ended up having exactly enough time to finish the last few problems, which was probably a bad sign that I rushed in the middle.
Well for timing I really like a tip I read on here recently to keep track of your time. You write down intervals like this:
Verbal would be like this:
Min-Q# 75-1 60-8/10 45-16/17 30-24/25 15-32/33
It really really helps me. I think if you want to take it again you need to figure out why you are doing so well on practice tests and not getting the same kind of score on the real thing. Do you get test anxiety? It can really affect your ability.
I do get a little bit of test anxiety, but it's not to the point where I'm sweating and worrying throughout the whole time, but I do think about timing and what the final score is going to be. Would this be considered test anxiety? Any suggestions on how to relax and not think about other things than the test?
