Should I write GMAT? [#permalink] New post 26 Apr 2006, 04:55
Friends, Its been a while now, I have been working on my GMAT prep. But, with so many things going around .. I think i can't prep or afford spending time on GMAT or can't improve from where I am now (practicing GMAT) anymore. Its getting on my head and I am not able to focus on anything. I think I should write GMAT and then decide what to do. Sorry, for this pessimistic sounding post but I don't think I have any other option. I can't leave it at this stage as I had done this in past and now I am regretting for it :( I don't want to repeat atleast my this mistake. What do you'll advice?

gmatacer ,

I think you shouldnot leave midway . You have worked a lot on this .

Just think what possibly you can gain by leaving it midway , trust me nothing .. if you are not willing to wait until your scheduled date , prepone the exam and be done with it for now .

The brighter side of it is that you might get very good score . Remember if you give the exam you will never regret it . It's always better to try than leave midway . Whole of our life is a learning curve .

Have confidence in yourself , think of your abilities and give it your best shot . Good luck .

HI GMATAcer,

Don't even think about backing out. Please go for it. If anything, it'll be a learning experience. I have never been a good student in school nor am I one as a GMAT aspirant. I have scored above a 700 only once so far, after having taken numerous tests. But I just don't want to leave the battle field. With my 640s and 630s I am taking the the test on 8th of May. Trying to work as hard as I can at the moment. So don't lose faith...you'll crack it...

Yes Friends. I am not backing out. I am kinda relaxing now. I have'nt studied anything past 2 days. I will take my own time and pace to study and give the test when I am ready. I will keep posting on this wonderful forrum now and then but as i said I am not going to take everything on my head, now on :) I will take my own time to prepare.
