Should you take a week of from work to study? [#permalink] New post 05 Sep 2006, 11:56
I read the link about quitting your job so i guess my question sis more or less the same.......

I have a schedule for studying 2-3 hrs weeks nights and 6-7 Weekends and was wondering should someone take a week of work to study?

My job isn't stressful and the money is good as are the benfits. But this is just something for now not looking to stay here for long...........Its good for recommnedations and contacts...

Thanks...........Need some opinions

As long as you have the vacation time and don't mind spending it for the GMAT, it would probably be a good thing.

The only question now is when to take that week off. My best guess would about 10 - 14 days before your GMAT.

I did so for the CFA... Probably built up some anxiety and was horrible for my mental health... but then again I passed and 60% of people didn't... So who cares about having a good time with your vacation time. :)
