lol this post is so depressing! It started well... but not for long! So just in order to give you some hope, I'll give you some advice (from the other side).
My girlfriend started law school the last year and it started the way you described it; huge load of work, hours spent at the library, parties...etc... The trick for me has been to be proactive, I started to go to these parties, i met the "law school guys" and made them understand who i was, and became friend with some of them. The result: less tension in our couple, simply because I knew the people she spent her time with, and more important, they knew me: psychologically really important as it is more difficult to shag the GF of a guy you know (more difficult, not impossible! lol some guys/girls have no respect). Even my GF noticed that the guys were less after her...
Of course, if you GF is a slut, you're ****, nothing new... But even a good girl / guy can make a mistake when spending so much time with people from opposite sex.
Regarding the long distance relationship, i didn't wait for law / B-school to know that it's a gamble. Sorry guys...

Way off topic but I looked through a few of those CBS follies videos and this one is a winner: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HY2u_Tgj ... re=related

I broke up with my gf not too long ago, and have been missing her. But I guess I shouldn't be too concerned? I am hoping to get into one of the schools and life is going to get really busy. Just hate to be in this position right now How is the workload at smaller b-schools? Probably still busy? If not, I can start something new on the side when I start BS. Also, I am not sure if I would want to date someone from my own MBA program - like really? people get competitive and then its asking for trouble! What do you guys think?

My GF is running off to start a Public Policy degree in a school about 8 hours from me, and although we are already doing long distance, I know she is worried.
This thread has now convinced me I should be worried too. Rather depressing.
I think I'm going to visit her for a week and just threaten every single male on campus and in a 2 mile radius. That will work ... right???

Good idea! lol but 2 miles is maybe not enough! lol But don't worry, I left my girlfriend in the US 4 months ago and it's ok, just a bit weird to don't see the person you love... we did the same last year so i am kind of a specialist! My advice: skype her every day, and if you still enjoy talking to each other after 2 months of this treatment, this means that your couple is strong enough to resist to a long distance relationship. Just my opinion though....
