Please find the similar answers similar in relationship to the example,
and provide reasons for the selection.

Example: epithet: disparage

a. abbreviation: proliferate
b. hieroglyphic: mythologize
c. dimunitive: respect
d. code: simplify
e. alias: mislead

IMO, the answer is e. I'll let you think about the reason for a bit....

Do you have a dictionary? What is an epithet and how is it used? What is an alias how how is it used?
