A is incorrect because because of how the first and second part of the sentence are being compared.

C is incorrect because the first part of the sentence is in the present-tense, while the second half is in the past-tense.

D is the same as C.

E is incorrect because "as" is not being used correctly. Nouns are compared with "like", while clauses are compared with "as".
