Thanks

Hi Shweta.
First, congratulations to you on getting admits to both colleges. Both colleges and give you an edge over the others. I am a current student at Simon and am offering some insight on the experience at Simon.
The school has great professors in all areas ( Marketing, Finance, Consulting). The school is known as pioneers in one area where many schools do not even know about - Pricing. Pricing is a relatively new field picking up here and Columbia and Simon are famous for their contribution in this field. If you plan to delve into a Financial or Marketing oriented career curve, you might still be better of at Simon.
However, this school has one of the biggest disadvantage. Its location. It virtually impairs u and adds a lot of complexity in terms of reaching out to professionals in the industry and networking for jobs. Internally, the school is trying to do something about it but the problem is immense and something the school does not acknowledge. I already have an internship offer but most of my colleagues do not. And I have it because I would spend most of my time staying with a few old friends in NYC. The town of Rochester has nothing much to do and is pretty dead on weekends.
Boston on the other hand, as a city, has many opportunities. And you will enjoy the city. It gives you many platforms to reach out to people because the city is a breeding ground for start ups and many companies are shifting a few of their departments to Massachusetts. Further, if your not comfortable with Boston, you can always take the Greyhound bus from Boston to NYC. It takes just 4hrs and $30 to travel and network in NYC vs the 7hrs and $60 from Rochester.
Hope this helped
