Man, I messed this one up big time!!
I thought "shaped so smoothly and perfectly" is a participial phrase but look like "wings shaped" is active voice, not passive voice "wings are shaped".

in (B)
is it supposed to be "smoothly" instead of "smooth" since adverb only modifies verb?

I agree with you that it should be smoothly. But I i feel like since it is between (B) and (E) (since those are the only two dependent clauses introduced with a subject or pronoun) and that (B) is a more correct answer than (E).......that is the best reason that I can come up with....
