A) Correct.

B) the part of the sentence after a comma is further explanation of the former part. Using 'wings' twice implies that second part is additional feature. Wrong.

C) 'that' is used twice in sentence.

D) It's better to use 'smooth' & 'perfect' as 'smoothly' & 'perfectly'.

E) Same as B & 'having been' makes the whole sentence construction awkward.

Problem in A that there is an ambiguity whether wings or air crafts are referred
In B by mentioning wings for the second time removes that problem

thanks, I didn't catch that "wings" could refer to aircraft too. OA is B
